Lời Cầu Nguyện Của Thánh Bridget Trong 12 Năm:
Chúa đã ban các lời kinh này cho Thánh Bridget ở Thụy điển để cầu nguyện trong 12 năm. Ngài hứa ban cho những ai cầu nguyện kinh này các hồng ân mà bà Maria Simma đã kể ra trong cuốn sách " Hãy cứu các linh hồn khỏi luyện ngục ". Nếu người đang cầu nguyện mà chết trước khi chấm dứt kinh nguyện của 12 năm, Thiên Chúa sẽ chấp nhận như là nguời ấy đã đọc trọn vẹn. Nếu vì lý do chính đáng nào đó mà bạn không đọc đủ kinh, thì bạn có thể đọc bù.
Kinh nguyện này được chấp thuận bởi Đức GH Clement XII. Riêng Đức GH Innocent X thì xác nhận rằng đây là mặc khải của Thiên Chúa.
NĂM HỒNG ÂN NHẬN ĐƯỢC:
1. Linh hồn nào đọc các lời cầu nguyện này thì không phải chịu đau khổ ở Luyện ngục.
2. Linh hồn nào cầu nguyện kinh này sẽ được chấp nhận như các thánh tử đạo, như là đã đổ máu cho đức tin của mình.
3. Linh hồn nào cầu nguyện kinh này thì có thể chọn ba người khác để Chúa Giêsu sẽ giữ gìn họ trong tình trạng ơn sủng để trở nên thánh thiện.
4. Không ai trong 4 thế hệ kế tiếp của linh hồn cầu nguyện kinh này sẽ bị hư mất đời đời.
5. Linh hồn nào cầu nguyện kinh này sẽ được biết trước một tháng khi nào thì mình chết.
BẢY KINH NGUYỆN:
Lạy Chúa Giêsu, giờ đây, con xin cầu nguyện Kinh Lạy Cha 7 lần để hiệp thông với tình yêu. Xin Chúa thánh hoá lời cầu nguyện này trong Thánh Tâm Chúa. Xin Chúa đem các lời kinh từ đôi môi con để đưa vào Thánh Tâm Chúa. Xin Chúa bổ túc và kiện toàn kinh nguyện của chúng con để đem nhiều vinh quang và niềm vui cho Thiên Chúa Ba Ngôi, như Chúa ban niềm vui trên trần gian bằng cách ban tặng kinh này cho chúng con.
Xin cho các lời kinh nguyện của chúng con vinh danh Chúa vì Chúa đã chịu Năm vết thuơng Thánh đau đớn và Máu Thánh Cực Châu Báu của Chúa đã đổ ra cho chúng con .

Lạy Cha Hằng Hữu, qua bàn tay dịu hiền của Mẹ Maria và Thánh Tâm Chúa Giêsu, con xin kính dâng Chúa vết thuơng đầu tiên, sự đau đớn đầu tiên và sự đổ máu đầu tiên của Chúa Giêsu để đền tạ cho tội lỗi tuổi trẻ của con và của nhân loại, để xin Chúa bảo vệ chúng con và thân nhân chúng con chống lại tội chết đầu tiên.
2. CHÚA GIÊSU LO BUỒN TRÊN NÚI OLIVE.

Lạy Cha Hằng Hữu, qua bàn tay dịu hiền của Mẹ Maria và Thánh Tâm Chúa Giêsu, con xin kính dâng Chúa sự đau đớn nơi Thánh Tâm Chúa Giêsu trên núi Olive, và mỗi giọt mồ hôi máu Chúa đổ ra để đền tạ cho tội lỗi trong trái tim của con và của nhân loại, để bảo vệ chúng con khỏi các tội lỗi ấy và để truyền bá Tình yêu huynh đệ Thánh thiện.
3. CHÚA GIÊSU BỊ ĐÁNH ĐÒN:

Lạy Cha Hằng Hữu, qua bàn tay dịu hiền của Mẹ Maria và Thánh Tâm Chúa Giêsu, con xin kính dâng Chúa hàng ngàn vết thương, những sự đau đớn, và Máu Thánh Chúa Giêsu đã đổ ra khi bị đánh đòn để đền tạ cho tội xác thịt của con và của nhân loại, để bảo vệ chúng con khỏi các tội lỗi ấy và để bảo toàn sự ngây thơ, đặc biệt trong các thân nhân của con.

Lạy Cha Hằng Hữu, qua bàn tay dịu hiền của Mẹ Maria và Thánh Tâm Chúa Giêsu, con xin kính dâng Chúa những vết thương, những sự đau đớn, và Máu Thánh Chúa Giêsu đã đổ ra trên đầu Chúa khi Ngài chịu đội mão gai để đền tạ cho tội lỗi trong tâm linh của con và của nhân loại, để bảo vệ chúng con khỏi các tội lỗi ấy và để truyền bá Vương quốc của Chúa Ki Tô trên trái đất.
5. CHÚA GIÊSU VÁC CÂY THÁNH GIÁ:

Lạy Cha Hằng Hữu, qua bàn tay dịu hiền của Mẹ Maria và Thánh Tâm Chúa Giêsu, con xin kính dâng Chúa những sự đau đớn của Chúa Giêsu trên đường Thánh giá, đặc biệt vết thuơng Thánh trên vai của Ngài, và Máu Ngài đổ ra để đền tạ cho tội chống lại thánh giá mà con và nhân loại đã phạm, để bảo vệ chúng con khỏi các tội lỗi ấy và để mọi người yêu mến thánh giá cách chân thành.

Lạy Cha Hằng Hữu, qua bàn tay dịu hiền của Mẹ Maria và Thánh Tâm Chúa Giêsu, con xin kính dâng lên Chúa: Con của Chúa là Chúa Giêsu chịu chết trên cây Thánh giá, các lỗ đinh và khi kéo đinh, các vết thương trên bàn tay và bàn chân Ngài, và ba dòng Máu Châu Báu của Ngài đã đổ ra cho chúng con, những cuộc tra tấn dã man trên thể xác và trong linh hồn của Ngài, cái chết của Ngài và sự canh tân không đổ máu của Ngài trong mỗi Thánh lễ trên thế gian để đền tạ cho các vết thương do sự chống lại lời thề của các Dòng tu, để đền tạ cho các tội lỗi của con và của nhân loại, cho các người bệnh và người hấp hối, cho các linh mục thánh thiện và giáo dân, cho các ý chỉ của Đức Thánh Cha nhằm kiện toàn các gia đình Ki Tô hữu, cho đức tin vững mạnh, cho quê hương chúng con, và cho sự hiệp nhất giữa các quốc gia trong Chúa Ki Tô và Giáo hội của Ngài, và cho kiều dân Do Thái.

Lạy Cha Hằng Hữu, xin Cha chấp nhận, nếu như xứng đáng, nhu cầu của Giáo hội Chúa. Lạy Máu và Nước tuôn ra từ vết thương của Thánh Tâm Chúa để đền tạ cho tội lỗi của tất cả nhân loại. Xin Cha tỏ lòng từ bi và thương xót chúng con. Lạy Máu Thánh Chúa Ki Tô, sự châu báu cuối cùng của Thánh Tâm Chúa, xin rửa sạch tội lỗi con và tội lỗi các kẻ khác. Lạy Nước từ Nương Long Chúa Ki Tô, xin rửa sạch chúng con khỏi mọi sự trừng phạt bởi tội lỗi và xin tắt các ngọn lửa Luyện ngục cho con và cho các linh hồn. Amen.

The 7 Prayers of St. Bridget
Opening Prayer – O Jesus, now I wish to pray the Lord’s Prayer seven times in unity with the love with which You sanctified this prayer in Your Heart. Take it from my lips into Your Divine Heart. Improve and complete it so much that it brings as much honor and joy to the Trinity as You granted it on earth with this prayer. May these pour upon Your Holy Humanity in Glorification to Your Painful Wounds and the Precious Blood that You spilled from them.
1st Prayer – The Circumcision: Pray 1 Our Father, 1 Hail Mary
Eternal Father, through Mary’s unblemished hands and the Divine Heart of Jesus, I offer You the first wounds, the first pains, and the first Bloodshed as atonement for my and all of humanity’s sins of youth, as protection against the first mortal sin, especially among my relatives.
2nd Prayer – The Suffering on the Mount of Olives: Pray 1 Our Father, 1 Hail Mary
Eternal Father, through Mary’s unblemished hands and the Divine Heart of Jesus, I offer You the terrifying suffering of Jesus’ Heart on the Mount of Olives and every drop of His Bloody Sweat as atonement for my and all of humanity’s sins of the heart, as protection against such sins and for the spreading of Divine and brotherly Love.
3rd Prayer – The Flogging: Pray 1 Our Father, 1 Hail Mary
Eternal Father, through Mary’s unblemished hands and the Divine Heart of Jesus, I offer You the many thousands of Wounds, the gruesome Pains, and the Precious Blood of the Flogging as atonement for my and all of humanity’s sins of the Flesh, as protection against such sins and the preservation of innocence, especially among my relatives.
4th Prayer – The Crowning of Thorns: Pray 1 Our Father, 1 Hail Mary
Eternal Father, through Mary’s unblemished hands and the Divine Heart of Jesus, I offer You the Wounds, the Pains, and the Precious Blood of Jesus’ Holy Head from the Crowning with Thorns as atonement for my and all of humanity’s sins of the Spirit, as protection against such sins and the spreading of Christ’s kingdom here on earth.
5th Prayer – The Carrying of the Cross: Pray 1 Our Father, 1 Hail Mary
Eternal Father, through Mary’s unblemished hands and the Divine Heart of Jesus, I offer You the Sufferings on the way of the Cross, especially His Holy Wound on His Shoulder and its Precious Blood as atonement for my and all of humanity’s rebellion against the Cross, every grumbling against Your Holy Arrangements and all other sins of the tongue, as protection against such sins and for true love of the Cross.
6th Prayer – The Crucifixion: Pray 1 Our Father, 1 Hail Mary
Eternal Father, through Mary’s unblemished hands and the Divine Heart of Jesus, I offer You Your Son on the Cross, His Nailing and Raising, His Wounds on the Hands and Feet and the three streams of His Precious Blood that poured forth from these for us, His extreme tortures of the Body and Soul, His precious Death and its non-bleeding Renewal in all Holy Masses on earth as atonement for all wounds against vows and regulations within the Orders, as reparation for my and all of the world’s sins, for the sick and the dying, for all holy priests and laymen, for the Holy Father’s intentions toward the restoration of Christian families, for the strengthening of Faith, for our country and unity among all nations in Christ and His Church, as well as for the Diaspora.
7th Prayer – The Piercing of Jesus’ Side: Pray 1 Our Father, 1 Hail Mary
Eternal Father, accept as worthy, for the needs of the Holy Church and as atonement for the sins of all Mankind, the Precious Blood and Water which poured forth from the Wound of Jesus’ Divine Heart. Be gracious and merciful toward us. Blood of Christ, the last precious content of His Holy Heart, wash me of all my and others’ guilt of sin! Water from the Side of Christ, wash me clean of all punishments for sin and extinguish the flames of Purgatory for me and for all the Poor Souls. Amen.
Many people have heard of 15 prayers of St. Bridget that focus on the passion of Our Lord. The prayers are said every day for one year. There are a list of 21 promises for those who say the prayers every day for one year. I have done the prayers two times, once while I was in the seminary and again as a priest. Recently, I have read that in 1954, The Congregation of the Holy Office prohibited the publication of the promises since the promises have no merit to them. However, the prayers are a very beautiful meditation on the passion of Our Lord and any meditation on Our Lord’s passion can only do good. A short time ago, I also discovered another set of prayers of St. Bridget called the 7 prayers. The prayers are to be said every day for 12 years. At the end of the 12 years, one would have honored each of the 5,480 blows and wounds of Our Lord’s body.
The seven prayers also have promises. I have read that the prayers and promises were approved by Popes Clement XII and Innocent X, but I can’t verify that. Again, even if the promises are not valid, the prayers in themselves are very beautiful and if prayed with devotion and love can only enhance a persons love for Our Lord.
I was moved to start the prayers during Adoration almost two years ago, but avoided that inspiration, so I began them on the Feast of St. Laurence, deacon and martyr this year (August 10).

Our Lord Made 5 Promises to St. Bridget
Our Lord made these 5 Promises to anyone who recited/prayed these prayers daily for 12 entire years. If the soul praying these prayers dies before the entire 12 years of prayers have been completed, the Lord will accept them as having been prayed in their entirety, because the intention of the soul was to complete them as directed. If a day or a few days are missed due to a valid reason, they can be made up for later, at the soul’s earliest opportunity.

Những ai nghĩ về cuộc Khổ Nạn của Chúa Ki Tô thì phải luôn nghĩ đến Mẹ của Ngài. Mẹ Thiên Chúa ban cho Thánh Bridget mặc khải rằng hễ ai cầu nguyện 7 Kinh Kính Mừng hàng ngày khi suy gẫm về nước mắt và sự sầu khổ của Mẹ và truyền bá sự sùng kính này thì Mẹ hứa sẽ ban các ơn sau đây:
1. Bình an trong gia đình.
2. Được Chúa soi sáng cho các mầu nhiệm của Chúa.
3. Ban cho các ơn mà lòng họ ao ước, miễn là các ơn ấy ở trong Thánh Ý Chúa và có ích cho linh hồn họ.
